dug this mike. isnt it amazing how strong our senses were back then. as we grew older they seem blunted. that is, colors, sounds ect. maybe its too much. i know it is for me, but cant speak for 'normal' people. not that yr normal. ha.

Oh, I didn't know what a memory stick was. Duh. If acknowledged, it should show as a drive in "My Computer" area. I'd think you could copy & paste file there, that's how I backup to disk.

They've been bringing in cons on
work release for cheap labor.
It started with Frank, two
years ago.
I remember the day Frank
showed up looking all hang-
dog & sullen. He was living in
the half-way house then, just

My boss had contacted him while

They bring them in for hand
work, bindery things, like
stuffing envelopes for

Dishwasher

I was 15. You were supposed to be at least 16 so I said I was 16. Gary, the middle aged manager, walked me to my station.
“The dishes go in here and come out there,” he said, pointing to the machine. “The pots and pans will require hand cleaning, they’re usually too dirty to put through the machine, plus, many are too big. Don’t be one of those clowns who just shoves them into the machine hoping for a miracle. And don’t come to Gary saying you’ve jammed up the machine with a big pot, okay?”

If for any reason you ever talk about yourself in the third person, you're teetering on the edge of an abyss

He is at his desk thinking about things. His arms are a little shaky. This seems to happen after cutting the lawn with a weedwhacker. Small city lawn. Last bit of line broke half-way through. He drove to local hardware store for new spindle after cleaning lawn guts from his glasses & hair. He did not swear or get upset, just drove there, with the piece from the bottom. He asked someone. They were helpful.
"Oh, you don't need a new spindle, just the line?" the person said.
