tentative title: SODOMIZING THE SECOND BLUE GOAT, a manuscript currently at 138 pages, & there are still a few other folders i have to go thru -- slow process of editing, & don't have order yet since manuscript is so huge -- but it's what is keeping me occupied when the little free time i do have is available. no idea what i'll do with it yet -- early stages -- just trying to get it all into one folder is a major task. can see it as 400 pages, so there is much work ahead. no idea why i a…

Buying Time
Henry awakened with the fear. No bad dreams. Didn’t remember having any dreams in months. His eyes opened, and he was wide awake. The fear was there. He knew it wouldn’t go away easily.
It wasn’t the kind of fear you could ignore or bravely push aside, marching on to duty. He’d dealt with fear of all sorts. He knew it inside and out. This was the kind of fear that could hold a man down for days. There was the possibility he might never get up.
So he rolled over, covered his…

it starts with the tits getting flabby and saggy
next thing you know white hairs
start sprouting from chin hair & side hair
lets not forget love handles
& bellies that begin to look pregnant
even your cheeks look like bloated baloons
sometimes you stare in the mirror
and try and suck cheeks in
like a male or female model
but they just puff back out again
what about back neck fat? is there such a thing?
i seem to be getting it
along with an aging hairy saggy ass
any muscle that use to be…

i read a study today about cocaine and crack abuse
it showed a normal 23 to 25 year olds brain
that had never used crack
and his brain looked like it had
two large healthy looking bananas
on either side,
then it showed crack users brain who 23 to 25
and the bananas shrank alot'
then they got into the non stop user
from his 30's to 40's
and those fresh looking bananas had almost faded away
and the topper was if you keep smoking crack
if your are lucky to live into 50'
or 60's those banana things…

It wasn't
the way they
shaved the baby's
head but why in
christ they found
the need to
both rick & dave
had shaved their heads
so they naturally
felt it right to shave
the baby
when they held

of surprise eclipsed
we would've been
just going along
for the ride but
as the sun took it's
time rising above

man could see
we wasn't gonna
get a tan without
moving the patio
at least thirty feet
across the yard
and a pretty high
fence to mask the
fact we had no
clothes on and the
drugs were all
comin on way too
fast for even yankee
gee who knew his
way around these
climbs claiming to
have taken at least
a hundred trips already

They've been bringing in cons on
work release for cheap labor.
It started with Frank, two
years ago.
I remember the day Frank
showed up looking all hang-
dog & sullen. He was living in
the half-way house then, just
out of jail.
My boss had contacted him while
he was still incarcerated.
They bring them in for hand
work, bindery things, like
stuffing envelopes for
mailings. Frank had some
printing experience.
They had him doing hand
work, then he was covering
on night shift on the little
press…

[I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT THIS POST HAD TOO MANY CHARACTERS TO POST AS A RESPONDING COMMENT, SO I'M POSTING IT HERE]:
"
Wld have?" Too bad Cheryl had to close shop. I think it was Braughtigan's "In Watermelon Sugar," where he, as protagonist, had a graveyard shift job as a lone and ensconced curator in and for a "midnight" library of private collections where secret, anonymous authors would drop off their manuscripts from an outside drop shute to an inside collection bin for him, and…

Goodbye Kiss
We sat in her new car. We’d just been divorced.
The judge had signed off on the paperwork.
She turned to me and held out her slim hand.
I still loved her, though I was with someone else.
She was with someone else too, and pregnant.
I didn’t know she was pregnant. I didn’t know shit.
The whole marriage I hadn’t known anything.
Why should this last day be any different?
I asked her for a goodbye kiss. She shook her head.
She didn’t think that would be a wise thing to do.
We were sit…
